Experimental Jam

The Experimental Jam is a regular interdisciplinary event organized by the Experimental Munich platform that takes place every month in different artistic spaces in Munich and will celebrate its one year anniversary at Kunstlabor 2, taking part in the Turtle Magazine 2025 Release event.

It is an open gathering where performers from different artistic backgrounds come together with curiosity and interest in the investigations emerging from the experiment: dance, sound, visuals, text, new surroundings, and a desire to connect with others. It is a collective improvisation session where the performers figure things out through unknown encounters and collaborate to create new possibilities.

The first hour of the event is intended for the artists to get to know each other and do a physical warm-up together, followed by two hours of improvisation open to the general public.
